The process for applying for a family court hearing can be daunting. We can assist. More importantly, we can advise on your best course of action, which may not be a court application.
Please note from December 2025, we are only able to assist clients that we have supported in the past. we are not taking on new cases. Please see home page for Justice.wales for new cases.
Legal aid is not available for everyone, and solicitors are costly. We can advise on whether you may be eligible for legal aid. For male victims of domestic abuse we may be able to assist in providing the required documentary evidence.
Please note from December 2025, we are only able to assist clients that we have supported in the past. we are not taking on new cases. Please see home page for Justice.wales for new cases.
50% of male victims of domestic abuse do not initially appreciate that what they are experiencing is abuse. We provide an assessment of your risk or exposure to domestic abuse.
We have 1 accredited Safelives IDVA within the charity who deals with past cases only in 2026, until the charity is fully closed later in 2026.
The charity provides inputs to consultations, etc., of relevance to family law and/or domestic abuse, especially as regards the fathers' perspective. We contribute to research and run campaigns to underwrite these activities.
We also sit on the Cafcass Cymru advisory board for wales.
